Dr. Eric Bjerke is originally from West Islip, New York and after graduating from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University, he joined the United States Army and attended Warrant Officer Candidate School and Flight School. He proudly served his country with honor as a decorated helicopter pilot.
Dr. Bjerke aspired to become a chiropractor after getting treatment for a severe back injury. Chiropractic care was the only thing that helped him return to duty and flying. He personally understands how debilitating back pain can be and wanted to help other people heal. Dr. Bjerke received his chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic and is currently a member of the Florida Chiropractic Association, the Florida Chiropractic Physician Association, and the Greater Delray Beach Chamber of Commerce.
Dr. Bjerke keeps up to date with continuing education to guarantee his patients are receiving the very best and most advanced care to date. He has acquired immense knowledge in regard to auto accident injuries and associated healing therapies.
He has also taken courses in advanced personal injury cases, along with getting qualifications for MRI to be able to provide his personal injury patients with advanced care. An MRI is often ordered when a patient is experiencing pain but cannot be diagnosed through a physical exam. This helps rule out the possibility of any internal injuries. MRI scans can also provide patients with clear, credible evidence of injury in their personal injury case.
